The following was all done on a UNIX platform. 1. Using arcpress each county map composition was exported to Black and White TIFF format with GROUP 4 compression at 450 dpi. 2. Using the Arc/Info command "Register" each County Tiff was geo-registered using GDOT's Arc/Info surface coverage. Using the surface arc coverage a minumum of 4 road intersections one at each corner of the County tiff were used as registration points. 3. Once registered, each tiff was then rectified using the Arc/Info command "Rectify". 4.
