Cities and Towns

Description

Cities and towns of Georgia were extracted from existing boundary information found in the U.S. Bureau of Census TIGER Data, 1995. City and town names along with several other useful variables were appended to this spatial data set from U.S. Bureau of Census TIGER Resources. This may not represent a full accounting of legally incorporated places in the state, but it does provide an initial look at existing cities and towns as defined by U.S. Bureau of Census.
