Description This data set is an extraction from the EPA River Reach File 3 (RF3). It is based on the attribute RF3ORGFLG when the value if this is equal to 1, which indicates that the source for attribute information was from RF1. Therefore, this data set is equivalent to RF1 in its reach representation, but contains the more accurate geometry of RF3. This data was extracted from each RF3 basin and appended using ARC/INFO to form a state-wide coverage. In a few cases, additional reaches were manually added from RF3 in order to fill in missing linework. This was usually due to missing attribute information in RF3.
