| Description
The widespread use of USGS 1:24,000 7.5 minute topographic maps for digitizing spatial data, and the availability of data in 7.5 minute blocks necessitates the use of an index coverage. This index coverage contains all of the 1:24,000 quadrangles for the state of Georgia with an appropriate Arc/Info coverage name that can be used for indexing. The 1:100,000 30x60 minute map name is also included for larger indexing. |
