| Description
The HYDRO data layer is a compilation of the 1:100,000 scale Digital line graph (DLG) data available of Hydrography for the state of Georgia. The data is internally edgematched within 1:100,000 scale map sheets. No external edgematching has been performed. The data contains both linear features such as streams or shorelines and polygonal features such as lakes or ponds. The data has been "clipped" to the boundary of the State of Georgia using 1:100,000 scale boundary data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Census Bureau, TIGER Line files, 1990. Information about individual 100,000-scale DLG records can be obtained from the EROS Data Center. |
