GIS Day Proclamation signed by Governor Barnes
Dr. William H. McLemore, State Geologist, participated in the GIS Awareness Day proclamation ceremony presided over by Governor Roy Barnes. Dr. McLemore presented the Digital Environmental Atlas of Georgia (jointly authored by the US Geological Survey and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources) CD-ROM and poster to the governor.
